SHARE MONSON SPEAKS AT Y. DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY

President Thomas S. Monson, second counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will speak at a Brigham Young University devotional at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, in the Marriott Center.

President Monson's address will be broadcast live on KBYU-FM (89.1). It will not be rebroadcast due to rebroadcasting of General Conference. KBYU-TV (Channel 11) will broadcast the devotional Sunday, Oct. 15, at 6 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.President Monson was made a member of the Council of the Twelve in 1963 and became second counselor in the First Presidency in November 1985.

Before his call to the Council of the Twelve, he was general manager of the Deseret News Press.
