A Sandy man who fell from a ladder while helping renovate a Kamas school died Tuesday at LDS Hospital.

Kenneth D. Morrill, 52, was apparently working on a major remodeling project at South Summit High School Monday when the accident occurred. Although he fell only about 8 feet during the 3 p.m. accident, he was seriously injured and was flown to LDS Hospital by Life Flight helicopter, a Summit County Sheriff's dispatcher said.
