A Salt Lake man was killed and three people injured in a three-vehicle crash Saturday night on Salt Lake's west side.

Honorio R. Guillen, 26, was dead on arrival at LDS Hospital after his vehicle and a second car collided while eastbound on North Temple near the state fairgrounds.Salt Lake Police Lt. Thomas Brown said the driver of the second car was traveling in the right-hand lane when the two vehicles collided. Guillen's car spun into the westbound lane and collided with a westbound motor home, Brown said.

The second car veered right, struck a utility pole, became airborne then spun around and came to rest facing west on the curb of the eastbound lane, Brown said.

Brown said a 9-year-old boy was thrown from the rear passenger side of the second car, but was picked up by another passenger.All of the occupants of the second car left the scene on foot.

Alberto Pinerez, 36, of Sandy, a passenger in the second car, was found two blocks from the accident and taken to Holy Cross Hospital where he was treated and released.

Police are seeking an 18-year-old Salt Lake man they believe to be the driver of the second vehicle.

Nicholas and Jean Booth, both 65, of Florida, occupants of the motor home, were treated at LDS Hospital.
