SHARE VIRGINIA FIRM WINS CONTRACT FOR UTAH SUPERFUND PROGRAM

The Utah Department of Health has awarded a three-year contract to a Virginia firm to help Utah in its hazardous waste Superfund program.

The contract awarded to Versar Inc., Springfield, Va., has a potential value of $3 million, said company president Michael Markels Jr.Versar will help Utah in a variety of technical and scientific areas, including conducting Superfund site investigations and remedial and feasibility studies.

Employees from Versar offices in Provo, and in Grand Junction and Greeley, Colo., will perform most of the work under the contract.
