C. Grant Hurst, senior vice president and director of corporate sales for Valley Bank and Trust Co., has been elected to a second term as president of the Jordan Education Foundation.

The foundation is a non-profit citizens' organization that supports public education.Hurst will head a drive to raise funds from the private sector to meet educational needs in Jordan District that can't be met with money from tax sources.

Also re-elected to the foundation board were Kenneth Kraudy, vice president; Allan R. Nelson, secretary-treasurer; Richard Bradford, Jane C. Callister, Brinton R. Burbidge, Don A. Carpenter, Dan C. Jorgensen, Dale A. Kimball, Eldon Roberts, Clark Stringham and Superintendent Raymond W. Whittenburg.
