Services are scheduled at noon Thursday for Wanda McGregor Snow, 92, a longtime Provo School District teacher who died Oct. 30, 1989, at her home of natural causes.

Mrs. Snow taught school for more than 30 years and was honored many times for her work with gifted and handicapped children.Friends may call at the Provo Oak Hills Stake Center, 1600 N. 900 East, from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour before services Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m Friday, Nov. 3, at the St. George Cemetery.

Mrs. Snow was a graduate of Dixie College and Brigham Young University. She spent a year as a Fulbright scholar in Winnipeg, Canada, and was Utah County Mother of the Year in 1955. In 1977 she was given a Distinguished Service Award by the Brigham Young University Alumni Association for her distinguished teaching career.

She was active in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as an ordinance worker in the Provo Temple. Also, she was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, the Alice Louise Reynolds Club, the American Association of University Women and the Federated Women's Artist Section.
