Tim Arnold, a LEGO Systems Inc. representative, makes last-minute repairs on a White House replica that will be part of a giant display in the ZCMI Center court area. LEGO representatives are turning the center court into a virtual walk through history, with replicas of U.S. landmarks including Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, the U.S. Capitol, White House, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Supreme Court Building, Washington Monument, the Statue of Liberty, the Old North Church, the Sears Tower (the world's tallest building) and Mark Twain's home. A giant map of the United States created from the building bricks will also be featured. The replicas will be under construction through Nov. 17, with the official opening of the display set for Nov. 20. The display will be at the center through Jan. 4.
