Senior accounting major Michelle Harrison has been named recipient of the Grace Adams Tanner Scholarship in Human Values, the first such award presented to a Southern Utah State College student.

The prestigious scholarship is presented by the SUSC Tanner Center for Human Values and covers full tuition and fees, including special fees. Center director Eugene T. Woolf said the award will amount to approximately $1,350 this year.Harrison, the daughter of Mike and Kay Harrison, 3229 Walnut Way, Salt Lake City, is a 1986 graduate of Brighton High School and a Sterling Scholar finalist in business education.
