Paul Glenn Sabey has been named the Professional Scouter of the Year for the Utah National Parks Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The award was given by volunteers and their committees who work with the Scout Council.

Sabey has been associated with the Utah National Parks Council since September of 1970. He began his long tenure as a district executive and has also worked as director of finance and public relations for the council. Sabey has spent a great majority of his time at the council working with the more than 6,000 volunteers working within the National Parks Council boundaries.Honored for his dedication, enthusiasm and loyalty to the Boy Scouts of America, Sabey, accompanied by his wife, Susan, was recognized at agathering of peers and Scout leaders from throughout the National Parks Council.
