Grant A. Fahrni, owner of Fahrni's Arabians, newly elected president of the Utah Arabian Horse Club, says his organization - the oldest Arabian horse club in the state - has set its sights on a year of growth, exciting new activities, new directions and a membership drive.

Other new club officers include Kathryn Huddleston, Bluffdale, vice president; Sandra Snow, Sandy, secretary; Ardath Sheriff, South Jordan, treasurer; and two new directors, Pamela Howarth, Sandy, and Bob Hilton, Bluffdale, who were elected to three-year terms.Fahrni said the club sponsors and conducts three class A shows each year in affiliation with the International Arabian Horse Association and the American Horse Show Association.

In addition, the club holds trail rides, an annual sanctioned endurance and competitive ride, youth clinics, family fun shows, a stallion auction and participates in parades.
