West Valley City Council candidate Margaret Peterson has found a way to make a little money during the political season.

She's sold a few of her high-impact, red-and-black "Peterson: City Council" signs to Bluffdale Council candidate Dewey Peterson. "I sold them for 10 bucks." And when the other Peterson's campaign asked to buy some more, Margaret Peterson had the perfect answer: "I told her they will be half-price next month."Like many candidates throughout the valley, Peterson has been experiencing the political phenomenon of sign wars. She said she had 700 signs printed and about 200 have been stolen. Another 100 have been confiscated by the Utah Department of Transportation, which felt the signs had been posted in the state's right-of-way.
