An Ogden man will be sentenced Nov. 28 after pleading guilty Wednesday in 2nd District Court to one count of sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony.

Joseph G. Cash, 61, pleaded guilty to the single charge in a plea negotiation with the Davis County attorney's office. He was charged with two counts of sodomy upon a child, a first-degree felony that carries a prison term of five years to life and a minimum mandatory prison term of three, six, or nine years.Cash still faces a five-to-life prison term and the minimum mandatory term.

Judge Rodney S. Page set a Nov. 28 sentencing hearing for Cash to allow his defense attorney, John Hutchison, to present testimony.
