A 4th District judge moved Micheal Anthony Archuleta's first-degree murder trial from Fillmore to Provo Friday.

Archuleta, 27, and Lance Conway Wood, 21, face murder charges in connection with the brutal November 1988 slaying of a Delta man.Gordon Ray Church, who was attending Southern Utah State College in Cedar City at the time, gave two men a ride from Cedar City.

His body, badly beaten and wrapped in tire chains, was later found in a shallow grave near I-70 in Southern Millard County.

Archuleta's trial, originally scheduled for Oct. 10, was rescheduled for Nov. 13, and then further delayed by Judge George E. Ballif. The trial is now scheduled to be held Nov. 21.
