SHARE VERNAL ATTORNEY RE-ELECTED CHIEF OF USU COUNCIL

Kenneth G. Anderton will serve a second two-year term as chairman of the Utah State University Institutional Council. Anderton, a Vernal attorney, was re-elected by the council.

Bonnie F. Nielsen, Hyrum, was elected to a second term as vice chairwoman. They, along with members Fred R. Hunsaker, Logan, and C. Booth Wallentine, Salt Lake City, make up the executive committee.Three new and two returning council members have begun new terms. The newcomers are J. Clark Ballard, Hurricane, a retired USU administrator, and James Laub, Providence, Big Blue Club president. They were both appointed to four-year terms by Gov. Norm Bangerter. Gary L. Blacker, Ogden, takes a seat on the council as the new president of the USU Alumni Association.

Nielsen and Frank Maughan, Jr., Ogden, were reappointed to second terms.
