Hundreds of high school students and advisers from across the state are expected to attend the 1990 March of Dimes/Future Homemakers of America Peer Education Conference at the Provo Excelsior Hotel in Provo on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 12 and 13.

The two-day event focuses on topics relevant to teen years and teenage problems. Speakers include Marilyn King, Utah State University Extension Service, discussing kids and cash; Dr. Bill and Chris Marshall, co-directors of Corporate Famology, discussing self-esteem; Deanne Francis, whose topic is prenatal care and birth defects; Greg Hudnall, Provo Vocational High School, discussing teen suicide; and Mike Lind, Charter Canyon Hospital, discussing drugs, alcohol and self-esteem.Anyone interested in the conference should contact their local high school FHA chapter or call March of Dimes, 373-4199.
