A Utah State University researcher recently was honored by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation for her effort in early identification of learning disabled children.

Carol Strong, clinical assistant professor in the department of communicative disorders, was one of four researchers in the United States and Canada to receive New Investigator stipends from the ASLH at the foundation's annual conference in St. Louis last month.
