SHARE JOINT CUSTODY DENIED

A judge on Friday ruled against a lesbian who sought joint custody and visitation rights to a girl who was born to a former lover through artificial insemination from the plaintiff's brother.

Superior Court Judge Dana Henry ruled against Terri Sabol, who sought to gain parental rights and even wished to pay child support.The judge, however, said the case crossed uncharted legal waters and that "it is absolutely imperative that the Legislature re-examine its laws."
