SHARE HATCH AIDE GOING TO ISRAEL

An aide to Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, is one of 20 young people out of 500 applicants chosen for a program to travel for a week in Israel for briefings on Middle East policy.

David S. Critchlow, a legislative correspondent for Hatch, was chosen for the Theodore Roosevelt Young Professional Program, sponsored by Friends of Democracy - a group that helps young employees of members of Congress learn more about foreign policy in the Middle East.Critchlow will travel in Israel from Dec. 27 to Jan. 5. His visit will include meetings with Israel's prime minister and its ambassador to the United Nations, plus tours of military installations.

Critchlow is a graduate of Weber State College in political science, and has also attended Cambridge University in England.
