Boise boys Spencer, 5; Jared, 13; Cody, 3; and Seth Sanders, 9, of Boise have waged a successful campaign against a toy that features an exploding rocket booster. Sears, Roebuck and Co. says it is immediately pulling the toy from its shelves after the brothers complained the toy represented "sick humor" in light of the 1986 shuttle explosion. A spokesman said Wednesday Sears has had as many as 100 complaints. The boys spotted the toy in the Sears holiday Wishbook catalog and wrote Sears and President Bush to complain. "We don't want children learning to blow up space shuttles!" they wrote. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration got the Sanders' letter to Bush and submitted a complaint of its own to Sears.
