SHARE SERIES TO FOCUS ON RIGHTS

The YWCA's noon network series will focus on human rights during January to celebrate the achievements of Martin Luther King Jr. The programs are presented Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m. at the YWCA, 322 E. 300 South. There is no charge and the public is invited.

Jan. 4 the program will be "Communication: the Power Within," and Robin Pfeiffer will discuss the difference between victim and power language and the impact of communication on claiming your rights.Debra Daniels will discuss emotional abuse in relationships during the session Jan. 11. The following week, Jan. 18, Rev. France Davis of Calvary Baptist Church, will discuss racism and justice for all, focusing on William Andrews.

Jan. 25, Joseph R. Sanders, American Express, will share his experiences raising his black family in conservative white communities.
