SHARE GOLF TOURNEY NETS $5,000 FOR FOUNDATION

The Utah Heritage Foundation is now $5,000 richer thanks to the first charity golf tournament sponsored this fall by the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks.

More than 100 golfers and local celebrities participated in the event, chaired by Margaret Russell, director of Union Pacific Reality, and Greg Gunn, president of the Utah NAIOP Chapter.Proceeds will be used to continue the foundation's statewide education goals of teaching young people about the benefits of the Utah's historical and cultural preservation.

According to Gunn, the $5,000 is just a beginning. The NAIOP national office will contribute additional funds to the foundation in the spring of 1990.

NAIOP is a national trade association headquartered in Washington, D.C. The organization has more than 7,000 members in the United States and in seven foreign countries.

It was founded in 1967 and is dedicated to the development of well-planned and innovative office and industrial buildings in a business park setting.
