SHARE MULTILATERAL AID PACKAGE FOR POLAND FINISHED

A multilateral arrangement between the United States and 10 other nations to provide a $500 million short-term loan to help support economic reform in Poland has been completed, the Treasury Department said Friday.

The United States has agreed to provide as much as $200 million to the loan package. Other participants include Belgium, Canada, West Germany, France, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and Britain.
