According to director Mary Cranney, regular programming will resume on Saturday, Jan. 6, for Lallapalooza, a company dedicated to giving children arts experiences. Classes for children 5 and older will be in the Lallapalooza studio, 1945 Sunnyside Ave., and will include drawing and painting, clay sculpture and a self-portrait workshop.
Registration forms may be found in the Davis County, Salt Lake City and County libraries and other community centers. Or parents may call 364-9218 for information, or write to Lallapalooza, c/o 234 Iowa St., Salt Lake City, UT 84102, enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Minimum enrollment per class in 12 students.Funding for Lallapalooza is contributed by the Utah Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Salt Lake City Arts Council, and the Castle Foundation. Lallapalooza also welcomes much-appreciated contributions from caring individuals.
