More than 400 motorcyclists, from yuppie weekenders in exotic leather to hard-core bikers in soiled denim "colors," delivered toys to a Skid Row mission in a thundering testament to good will.

The walls of the Fred Jordan Mission echoed from the blast of arriving and departing Harley-Davidsons, Hondas, Kawasakis and other big road bikes as the members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) and other motorcycle clubs made their second annual delivery for the mission. Skid Row residents looked astounded at the polished machines, some of them festooned with Christmas garlands and mounted by riders wearing Santa Claus hats.
