Soviet gymnastics legend Olga Korbut was very diplomatic when asked about Nadia Comaneci's defection and her relationship with a married man who helped her flee Romania. Korbut, 34, who charmed the world at the 1972 Olympics before Comaneci came along in 1976, was in Indianapolis on Thursday to raise money for children who contracted cancer from the Chernobyl accident and was inevitably asked about Comaneci. She said Nadia's defection and romance with Constantine Panait were personal matters and she wished her "all the best."
