NEW PARK SUPERINTENDENT

SHARE NEW PARK SUPERINTENDENT

Gary Hasty, superintendent of Utah's Natural Bridges National Monument, has been named superintendent of Pipe Spring National Monument, just south of the Utah-Arizona state line.

Hasty, who has been a full-time National Park Service employee for the past 15 years, will assume his new job later this month, said Lorraine Mintzmyer, director of the service's Rocky Mountain Region.He succeeds William Herr, who recently was named superintendent of Golden Spike National Historic Site in northern Utah's Box Elder County.
