Brigham Young's unseeded Mary Beth Young, who had advanced all the way to the semifinals in the Intercollegiate Tennis Coaches Association Rolex National Indoor Championships, finally lost Saturday.
In her singles semis match against top-seeded Tami Whitlinger of Stanford, Young fell in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3. With Saturday's loss, the BYU junior fell to 13-4 this season.
