SHARE OFFICERS TO COMPARE NOTES ON POSSIBLE BUNDY SLAYINGS

Police officers from states where Ted Bundy killed or may have killed are expected to compare notes Feb. 20 at the FBI's Behavioral Science Laboratory in Quantico, Va.

Bundy was electrocuted in Starke, Fla., Jan. 24 for the murder of 12-year-old Kimberly Leach of Lake City, Fla.One key figure expected at the weeklong gathering is Bill Hagmeier, an FBI agent who interviewed Bundy extensively and sat in on many of the interviews Bundy gave in the week before he died.

The number of known Bundy victims is between 23 and 30, based on the confessions he gave in the days before his death. Some law enforcement officials believed he committed many more murders than those to which he confessed.

Bundy confessed to killings in Washington, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Florida, but other states with unsolved killings have also expressed interest in the former law school student.
