University of Utah students will lend a hand to help the homeless Feb. 15.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the West Ballroom of the Union Building, members of the campus community will cut 1,300 square yards of synchilla material into blankets. The blankets will be distributed to agencies who work with the homeless.The project is in conjunction with the Bennion Center's Campaign for the Homeless. Co-sponsors are Patagonia, Fendall Ice Cream, University Union and University Food Services.
