SHARE RETIRED HOME-CARE DIRECTOR GAINS HONOR

Billee K. Petersen, retired director of home care services at McKay-Dee Hospital Center, has received the 1988 Maxine Thomas Award from the Utah Association of Home Health Agencies.

The award was given in recognition of her work during her 14 years as center director. She retired from the hospital in 1987 and now teaches nursing at Weber State College.During her years at McKay-Dee she built a small home care agency of three employees into the second largest in the state. She was instrumental in establishing the Utah Association of Home Health Agencies and served as the first president.
