VALENTINE VISIT FROM FIRST LADY

SHARE VALENTINE VISIT FROM FIRST LADY

First lady Barbara Bush talks with Dorothy Miles, a resident of the Washington Home for the elderly and terminally ill, during a Valentine's Day visit Tuesday. Mrs. Bush took a basketful of signed, handmade valentines for the patients, and she received a large poster-board valentine reading: "To Mrs. Bush. Always the first lady in our hearts." She sat and answered questions from about two dozen patients while board members and others looked on. Mrs. Bush is a board member of the non-profit, 189-bed facility and worked there as a volunteer at one time.
