Fifth District Judge Philip Eves sentenced a St. George man Wednesday to one-to-15 years in prison in the 1987 beating death of the defendant's 2-month-old son.

Jeremy Keith Wilson, 21, had entered a so-called Alford plea to manslaughter charges in the child's death. Such a plea is treated as a guilty plea, although the defendant does not admit guilt.
