Former BYU pitcher Rick Aguilera, fearing that he has no chance to start for New York Mets this season, repeated on Sunday his request to be traded.
"I'd really like to stay here and pitch but I don't see that happening," he said. "I'm obviously not going to bump someone here. So I'll start anyplace I can." Aguilera was 0-4 last year, when he was limited to 242/3 innings because of elbow problems. He had surgery in July and then returned in September and pitched in relief.
