2 NEW OFFICERS ELECTED FOR PACIFIC POWER AND UP&L

The board of directors of Pacifi-Corp has elected two new officers for the company's electric operations, Utah Power & Light Co. and Pacific Power.

Craig Garritson, 40, was named vice president for power supply services for both electric divisions, overseeing power supply, engineering, management training and other employee-related matters. Garritson, who has been with UP&L since May 1977, will live in Salt Lake City.Thomas A. Lockhart, 53, was named vice president of power systems, responsible for integrated power operations and wholesale power transactions for both operations. He will be located in Portland, Ore., home of Pacific Power.
