A Salt Lake electric supply company specializing in automation and industrial control has opened a branch office in Provo.
Codale Electrical Supply Inc. - suppliers of industrial, electrical and commercial equipment that is used to bring electricity into homes and buildings - is located at 154 N. Draper Lane."We decided to open an office in Provo because there is a good economic climate there," said Dale Holt, president. "Provo City was very aggressive in promoting business in Provo. It was a good time to move."
The 14-year-old company has a lamp contract with the state for all state-owned facilities. The company also has a contract to supply products for all facilities owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the continental United States.
The Provo Codale office has 10 employees in a 9,000-square-foot facility. The main office in Salt Lake is more than 25,000 square feet with 40 employees.
The Intermountain Electrical Association recently presented Codale with the Distributor of the Year Award for the third straight year.
