Members of 49 religious faiths signed cards or the guest book while visiting historic Temple Square during 1988.
Joseph Horne, square director, said not all visitors sign cards or the guest book. But he said it is interesting that those who did sign represent a wide diversity of religions."Since, according to our surveys, about three-fourths of all the visitors to Temple Square are non-LDS, we are extremely pleased to have them come and get acquainted with our people and learn of the square's historical significance," Horne said.
