NEW MISSION PRESIDENTS

SHARE NEW MISSION PRESIDENTS

The calling of six more mission presidents has been announced by the First Presidency.

They, along with their wives, will assume their responsibilities about July 1. The new mission presidents are:Scott T. Lyman, 58, Suncrest 5th Ward, Orem Utah Suncrest Stake; assigned to the Mexico Queretaro Mission; full-time missionary and counselor in presidency of England Missionary Training Center, former temple sealer, high councilor, bishop, and district president's counselor; served mission in Puerto Rico, 1981-1983, and in Peru, 1985-1986; retired; received bachelor's degree from BYU; born in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Platte DeAlton and Edith Gee Lyman; married Thoralyn Monson; four children. She is a full-time missionary with her husband at the England Missionary Training Center, former temple worker, seminary teacher, Relief Society president and counselor, and Relief Society teacher; served mission with her husband in Puerto Rico, 1981-1983, and in Peru, 1985-1986; born in Pleasant Grove, Utah, a daughter of Byron Clifton and Casse Lyman Monson.
