A story by Deseret News sports writer Doug Robinson has been selected by his peers as one of the top 10 entries in the country for newspapers with circulation between 50,001 and 175,000.

The announcement was made over the weekend by judges of the Associated Press Sports Editors Contest, which is open to papers nationwide.Robinson was honored in the "Best Sports Event" category for his story of Henry Marsh making the Olympic Team by finishing second at the U.S. Track and Field Olympic Trials in Indianapolis, Ind.
