The Desk and Derrick Club is sponsoring a course on the fundamentals of petroleum beginning March 2 and continuing for 12 consecutive Thursdays at Northwest Pipeline Corp. in the University of Utah Research Park. Those wanting to enroll can call Beth Galbos at Equity Oil at 521-3515 by Feb. 16.
The class will cover basic geology, exploration, geophysics, leasing, drilling, production, transportation, refining and marketing.
