Through May 1, the Pepsi Cola Co. is sponsoring a fund-raiser to benefit Utah schools.
The Pepsi Cash Cap School Challenge invites students to turn in Pepsi bottle caps for a nickel each. Cash bonuses and prizes also will be awarded.Specially marked caps from 16-ounce and 2-liter products will be redeemed at the participating schools. A grand prize of 5,000 caps and a new VCR will be presented to the five schools who collect the most caps per student.
Local convenience and grocery stores also may participate by promoting the campaign and providing collection bins.
