Kelly Widmeyer, a 6-foot-8, 305-pound offensive tackle from Weber State, has signed a contract with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.

Widmeyer was cut by the Philadelphia Eagles last year, one day before the start of the season. Terms of his new contract were not released.
