Utah high school students who own and operate a business can enter the third annual Young Entrepreneurs Search announced by Gov. Norm Bangerter.

Students must complete an application available from their school principal before April 12.The grand prize in the contest is $10,000 with $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place. Other prizes include marketing, accounting and legal services. All prize money has been donated by the Ogden-based NICE Corp.

Winners from each school will be announced April 17, and 10 finalists will be announced April 24 by a committee of Utah business leaders. The 10 finalists will be interviewed and featured on a KUED program May 8 and invited to attend a Governor's Economic Development Week luncheon May 11 when the three winners receive their money.
