Mrs. Fred Astroth has been elected regent of Salt Lake Valley Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, 1989-92.

Chapter officers will be installed at a regular meeting on Saturday, April 15, at noon at Mullboon's, 515 S. Seventh East, when the chapter celebrates its 30th anniversary.Mrs. Verdi R. White, honorary state regent, will install Mrs. Astroth and Mrs. James Grada, first vice regent; Mrs. James Duffy, second vice regent; Mrs. Paul Fromhold, chaplain; Mrs. Leon McCoid, secretary; Mrs. Charles Miller, treasurer; Mrs. Charles Cavagnolo, registrar; Mrs. R. Wayne Hanson, historian-librarian; and Mrs. Wayne Cook, director.

Special membership certificates will be awarded to one 50-year member and eight 25-year members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
