Justin Steadman is 12 years old. Three years ago he was diagnosed as having leukemia. Now he faces the possibility of a bone marrow transplant.

But in order to get that transplant it takes money. And lots of it. That's why the small community of Herriman has rallied around Justin and his family and organized a fund-raiser to help defray his enormous medical costs. The fund-raiser will be in the form of a barn dance, complete with hay rides, raffles, cake auctions and the sale of donated crafts.

Called "A Day For Justin," the fund-raiser will be held April 13 from 6 until 10 p.m. It will take place at the Dansie Barn, 126th S. 67th West, Herriman. The cost is $5 per person or $15 per family. Tickets are available at the door or donations can be made to C/O Justin Steadman P.O. Box 682, Riverton, UT 84065
