Idaho pioneer certificates are available to anyone whose ancestor was a pioneer Idahoan - in the state before 1890.

However, the Idaho Genealogical Society, says some proof is required, such as a birth certificate, baptismal records, census records or newspaper articles.Certificates cost $10 per document, are attractive and framable. Applications and information are available at the society's library 4620 Overland Rd., No. 204, Boise, ID 83705-2867, or by telephoning 208-334-2305.

Idaho will be 100 years old in 1990.
