Two University of Utah freshman football players have been arraigned on vehicle-burglary and theft charges.

Robert George Garrow, 19, and Matthew Allen Fosdick, 20, were arraigned Tuesday before 3rd Circuit Judge Maurice Jones on four counts each of vehicle burglary and theft.Preliminary hearing was set for May 16. The men are free on $5,000 bond each.

The two were arrested in Park City at 4 a.m. Sunday by Officer Bill Bryant.

Park City Detective Mary Ford said they were arrested as tires and wheels were being removed from a pickup truck that had been jacked up and placed on blocks.

She said several items, including stereo equipment and a cellular telephone, were recovered.

Police were investigating three other vehicle burglaries in the area, she said.
