KIDS CAN LEARN ABOUT WILDFLOWERS

The Utah Museum of Natural History will offer a spring wildflower workshop for children in the fifth through eighth grades.

Participants will meet at the museum May 18 to make a plant press, dissect flowers and learn how specimens are stored in an herbarium. The following Saturday they will take an all-day field trip to collect wildflowers in the foothills and Wasatch Mountains.Transportation will be provided from the museum to the field. Preregistration is $20 through the museum education department, 581-4887.
