A helicopter filming an American action movie crashed and exploded Tuesday, killing three Americans and the Filipino pilot and injuring up to 10 other people, officials said.

Two of the injured, both American stuntmen, were in critical condition, doctors and members of the film crew said. Two other American stuntmen were seriously hurt but were not in life-threatening condition, doctors said.Police investigator Jaime Talay said the Dolphin helicopter crashed at the foot of a hill near a mansion once owned by former President Ferdinand Marcos in Tagaytay, a mountain resort city 30 miles south of Manila.

Talay said the helicopter was filming a scene for the movie "Delta Force 2," starring American actor Chuck Norris, when the accident occurred.
