Utah County's Second Annual Public Works Day will open the Public Works facilities 2855 S. State Street to tours, displays and exhibits from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 20.

Weed control personnel will identify weeds growing in your back yard and tell you how to get rid of them. Parks people will tell you how to make the most of your lawn and landscaping.If you've ever wondererd why that pothole only seems to grow bigger, the roads department will be there to tell you just how soon it can be fixed. The state of Utah will also be holding a surplus property auction of a number of well-maintained cars and trucks and miscellaneous office equipment.
