NEW TEMPLE PRESIDENTS

Conrad Valoi Hatch, called as president of the St. George Temple, succeeding Pres. Thomas L. Esplin. Pres. Hatch, 66, is academic vice president at Southern Utah State College and a former regional representative. His wife, Elva Oldroyd Hatch, will be temple matron. Pres. Hatch is a former stake president, stake president's counselor, high councilor and bishop, Explorer district commissioner; received bachelor's and master's degrees from BYU and doctorate from Oregon State University. Currently serving as ordinance worker in the St. George Temple with his wife. Sister Hatch has been a ward Relief Society president and teacher, Primary president's counselor and teacher, and Young Women teacher. She received a bachelor's degree from Utah State Agricultural College and was part-time English and communications instructor at Southern Utah State College. Members of the Cedar 8th Ward, Cedar City Utah West Stake, parents of seven children.
